Jennifer Spencer Charles
Strategist | Writer | Speaker | Trainer
I work with communicators who want less noise and more insight, helping them challenge how reputation is built, and trust is lost.
About
I'm a communications strategist, speaker and writer. I help communicators, organisations and teams reframe reputation, rethink trust and reconnect strategy with behaviour - because visibility is not the same as authority.
I’ve worked across sectors and stakes, from high-pressure housing and building safety to professional services, from high-end tech to consumer health and weight-loss environments where the reputational consequences were immediate and real.
I’ve supported major public-facing moments too: the London 2012 Olympic torch relay and communications for two Olympic venues. Different sectors, different pressures, but the same lesson keeps showing up: messaging can shape perception, but it can’t outpace behaviour for long.
Speaking
I speak on trust, reputation, crisis, modern media dynamics.. and much more.
My talks are energetic, evidence-led and grounded in real experience. Not just slides of bullet points, but human stories and getting you to think differently.
Content Creation Conference, UK
18 June 2026
Session: Beyond the Brief: Building trust and credibility through people-led content
From short-form video to trend-led content, modern formats are often dismissed as informal or gimmicky in professional firms. This session challenges that mindset, exploring why personality matters and how creativity and trends can be embraced without losing authority. Drawing on real-world examples, it will show how people-led storytelling can cut through the noise, humanise content, and communicate meaningful messages with clarity, warmth, and impact - helping businesses build trust and remain credible in an increasingly crowded digital landscape.
